Please see the operation and access guidance below related to the College's Mary Schmidt Campbell Center for Innovation & the Arts (CI&A).
CI&A Hours of Operations
The CI&A is currently open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Spelman College Public Safety is staffing the building during operational hours with patrol of the building and the Milligan Building during overnight hours. While the CI&A building is closed on Saturdays, space availability is at the request of faculty for rehearsals and other events.
CI&A Building Access
Spelman faculty and staff have 24-hour access to the CI&A via external doors, stairs and elevators via the use of their Spelman ID cards. Spelman students may access the CI&A only during business hours from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. via external doors, stairs and elevators.
Spelman faculty and staff (including faculty who teach in the building) assigned to the CI&A will have access to the building exterior doors via the use of their Spelman ID cards. However, they will need to obtain a CI&A card from STS in order to access interior doors.
Guests will have access to the CI&A during operational hours only via the second floor entry at the top of the building's elevated walkway. Access for guests will only be provided through the building's ground floor during scheduled and special events.
