Success starts at Spelman! Spelman College was recently named one of OnlineU's 10 HBCUs that produce high earning alumni. The list is based on data that examined median earnings by college and compared it to the state salary threshold, which represents the median salary for Black graduates in that state with similar education levels.

Alumnae Highlights

Congratulations, Gwendolyn! Spelman College alumna Gwendolyn H. Everett, Ph.D., C'73, an art historian with more than 30 years of teaching and administration experience at the collegiate level, was recently named the interim dean of Howard University's Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts effective July 1.

The former associate dean for Faculty Affairs with the College of Fine Arts, Everett replaces former three-year dean Phylicia Rashad.
