alumni. The list is based on data that examined median earnings by college and compared it to the state salary threshold, which represents the median salary for Black graduates in that state with similar education levels.

Congratulations, Gwendolyn! Spelman College alumna Gwendolyn H. Everett, Ph.D., C'73, an art historian with more than 30 years of teaching and administration experience at the collegiate level, was recently named the interim dean of Howard University's Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts effective July 1.
The former associate dean for Faculty Affairs with the College of Fine Arts, Everett replaces former three-year dean Phylicia Rashad.
Current Spelman College employees are eligible to receive a $300.00 referral bonus (less applicable taxes) when referring an applicant who is hired and successfully completes the 90-day probationary period.
