Campus Highlights

Represent Spelman College on National College Colors Day! On Friday, September 1, we're asking students, faculty, staff, alumnae, and supporters to showcase their Spelman spirit and wear their favorite College apparel.

To celebrate online, be sure to share your photos, past and present, via social media, tag @spelmancollege and use the hashtag #CollegeColorsDay!

This academic year, Darryl Holloman, Ph.D., vice president for Student Affairs, and the Spelman College Division of Student Affairs are improving the way they support Spelmanites and the campus community.

Marla Frederick, C'94, a leading ethnographer and scholar focused on the African American religious experience, was recently announced dean of Harvard Divinity School effective January 1, 2024.

The Spelman College Office of Alumnae Engagement invites alumnae to register for Homecoming 2023!

Homecoming is not only a time for the Spelman Community to gather, but it is also a celebration of Black culture and our shared experiences. We are a family forever connected by our shared love for Spelman College. No matter where your life may take you, Spelman College is your forever home away from home.
