Spelman College was recently named among the best Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) for international relations, according to The Edvocate. Other HBCUs named include Howard University, Florida A&M University, Morehouse College and North Carolina A&T State University.

Congratulations, Dr. Oliver! Tiffany Oliver, Ph.D., was recently selected for a Jefferson Science Fellowship appointment with the U.S. Department of State’s Office of Global Food Security (E/GFS) in Washington, D.C.

Campus Highlights
The 2022-2023 academic year marked the return to campus and greatly changed how Spelman College addresses student mental health and wellness. In the May 2023 issue of Inside Spelman, Darryl Holloman, Ph.D., and Ronjonette O’Bannon, Ph.D., discuss how new approaches – and new programming – are addressing the needs of today’s Spelmanites.
Attention Class of 2025! Do you have an interest in pursuing a career in audio media? Applications for the Spotify Scholarship are once again being accepted!

The Spotify Scholarship provides financial assistance to deserving students to help defray educational costs during matriculation at Spelman College. Eligible candidates are sophomores with a GPA of 3.0 (or higher) who maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 and demonstrate financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid. Applicants must also complete the Spelman College Scholarship application to be considered. Applications will be accepted through tomorrow, Wednesday, May 31.
