Student Highlights
Congratulations, Spelmanites! Spelman College students Gabrielle Dandridge, C'2027, Kelsie Anna Tillage, C'2027, Mariyah Pickett, C'2027, Ryan Bates, C'2026, and Taylor Branch, 2027, were selected as part of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation's Summer 2024 cohort of Congressional and C-Suite interns a dynamic group of young leaders from colleges and universities across the country poised to begin a transformative public policy and professional development journey this week.

This highly competitive internship program offers a unique opportunity for students to gain firsthand experience in the legislative process, develop leadership skills and contribute to the mission of advancing the global Black community.

Alumnae Highlights

Congratulations, Kalin and Grace! Spelman College alumnae Kalin Tate, C’2018, and Grace Cole, C’2022, were honored as a part of the Winning 10 from the Black Sports Business Symposium. Tate and Cole are the only two Spelman graduates in the entire National Football League Office.

Given their commitment to their alma mater and other Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), both have served as mentors in the NFL HBCU Experienceship Program to ensure that more HBCU students can have access to these opportunities and spaces.
