President Helene Gayle will be joined by Kim Godwin, president of ABC News, for a conversation about
careers in the broadcast media industry and Godwin's journey to making history as the first Black woman to lead a major broadcast news network.

Spelman’s Food Studies Program will host its virtual Food Justice Summit on Thursday, March 30 at 6 p.m. EST the program's annual signature food justice event highlighting Black women food scholars.

This year’s summit focuses on using food as medicine and will feature Black women health specialists such as Tamara Melton, MS, RDN, of Diversify Dietetics; Tambra Raye Stevenson, MPH, of Wanda; and Spelman alumna and faculty member Rosalind Gregory-Bass, M.D., with Rose Scott serving as moderator.
