Spelman College was recently ranked among top Historically Black Colleges and
Universities (HBCUs) for Health Science majors, according to BestColleges.com. Spelman shares the distinction with Florida A&M University, Howard University, Oakwood University, Tuskegee University and Lincoln University.
Spelman College COVID-19
Operations will host an additionalfree wellness kitdistribution for the campus community on Wednesday, May
10, 2023, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the Beverly D. Tatum (BDT) Suites Private Dining Room. The wellness kits contain supplies such as hand sanitizer, masks and COVID-19 self-test kits with an estimated retail value of $100. For more information, visit Spelman.edu/PathForward.
Spelman College student, Naya Welcher, C’2025, was recently selected as one of 154 student civic leaders chosen for the 2023 cohort of the Newman Civic
Fellowship, which recognizes students who stand out for their commitment to creating positive change in communities, locally and around the world.

Alumnae Highlights
Reunion is a cherished custom at Spelman College – a time when alumnae gather every five years to commemorate, demonstrate affection and give back to our beloved institution. This year, the Spelman College Office of Alumnae Engagement is
thrilled to extend a warm invitation to all alumnae from class years ending in "3" and "8" to return to Spelman for Reunion 2023 from May 17 – 21.
