Greetings Spelman community,

We are extremely proud of the civic engagement efforts of the entire Spelman community in the months leading up to Election Day.

As we are all awaiting the returns and outcomes of races across the country, our work is not over to ensure our voices are heard.

It is important for all of us to verify that our general election ballots are accepted. In many states, if your vote is not yet accepted, you have until tomorrow, Friday, Nov.
6, at 5 p.m. (your state’s time) to correct the issue.

Everyone can check their ballot status through the voter page of your state’s Secretary of State website.

You may also contact the nonpartisan National Voter Protection Hotline: 866-OUR-VOTE / 866-687-8683.
We have great nonpartisan resources from the Spelman Student Government Association as well.

We firmly believe that every vote must be counted all over the country.
