Spelman students, faculty, staff, alumnae, past and present Board members, donors, corporate partners, parents, all friends, and supporters of the
College are invited to celebrate a historic era of giving in Spelman’s history.
Today, March 28, 2023, from 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. EST, join Spelman College President Helene Gayle, M.D., MPH, Board Chair Rosalind Gates Brewer, C'84, and President Emerita Mary Schmidt Campbell, Ph.D., for a celebration of the conclusion of the Spelman College Ascends Campaign.
We Invite our on-campus community to join us in the Wellness Center, starting at 12:45 p.m., for an in-person Viewing Party. Join us for an official campaign toast, food, and beverages. The event will also be live streamed on our website at live.spelman.edu and on our YouTube channel.
The Spelman College Ascends Campaign is the largest comprehensive campaign in the College’s history. Spelman Ascends was launched in 2017 with the goal of raising $250 million to cover student fees, improve technological infrastructure, build the Center for Innovation & Arts, and expand various initiatives across campus. We are proud to announce that we've exceeded our fundraising goal and raised $339 million for the College.
