Dear Spelman Community,
In efforts to ensure that our community remains protected during this heightened season of cold and respiratory viruses, the College will host vaccination drives in partnership with Morehouse School of Medicine, CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) and Walgreens Pharmacy. We strongly encourage you to get the new bivalent COVID-19 booster when eligible, as well as the annual flu shot, as an extra layer of protection.
Please see upcoming flu and COVID-19 vaccination drive details below. For both events, please bring your medical insurance card with you. As an appreciation for your participation, food and free wellness kits will be provided (while supplies last).
Community Flu Vaccination Drive with Walgreen’s Pharmacy:
November 9, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Beverly D. Tatum (BDT) Suites Cafeteria Hall.
Community COVID-19 Vaccination/Booster Drive with CORE:
November 11, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Beverly D. Tatum (BDT) Suites Cafeteria Hall.
Ahead of the COVID-19 vaccination drive, you may pre-register using the link here or by visiting spelmanvax.coreresponse.org. Please note that pre-registration is NOT required to participate. Vaccination is free and no
appointment is needed. Please be sure to bring your CDC Vaccination Record Card(s).
