Below, please find more information regarding the getcovidsafe.com Home PCR Test Kit.
If your test kit was delivered by a local Covid Care Courier Service (your received test kit in a paper bag), follow these instructions:
- Each package includes everything needed to provide a saliva sample and package it for pick up.
- Collect your saliva sample into the supplied tube receptacle by following the instruction sheet contained in the PCR kit. (you do not need to schedule a tele-health visit).
- Place the receptacle containing your saliva sample into the supplied bio-hazard bag.
- Place the bio-hazard bag with the receptacle containing your saliva sample into the same paper bag in which you received the kit.
- Send a text to 678-535-9904 to set up a pick up date and time range.
- You may receive a call from a courier to facilitate pickup.
- Place the paper bag at an easily accessible location (typically at the front entrance) to your home.
- You will receive a text message indicating when your package was retrieved.
- After your sample is received by the lab, you will receive your test results within 24-48 hours by text and/or email.
If your test kit was delivered by FedEx, follow this notice:
- You will find in the package everything you need to provide a saliva sample and package it to be returned for testing.
- Collect your saliva sample into the supplied tube receptacle by following the instruction sheet contained in the PCR kit. You do not need to schedule a tele-health visit.
- Place the receptacle containing your saliva sample into the supplied bio-hazard bag.
- Place the bio-hazard bag with the receptacle containing your saliva sample into the supplied FedEx return package and seal.
- Take this return package to any FedEx drop location BEFORE 4 P.M.
- Please take note that your return packaging has a tracking number printed near the bottom of the label--save this number.
- After your sample is received by the lab, you will receive your test results within 24-48 hours by text and/or email.
Questions/Concerns: if you need assistance, use the Customer Service Text chat at 678-535-9904 to chat with an agent to help walk you through any of the processes (getting a saliva sample, securing the sample, shipping the sample, using the courier pick up service). The customer service hours for the text line are: Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
