Student COVID Health and Safety Notification

Spelman Students,

We want you to be mindful that COVID-19 is still an ongoing health issue in the community. Please stay vigilant and take precautions to protect yourself and others. Continue to wear a mask indoors (and outdoors, if necessary), social distance when possible, and follow hand washing and respiratory etiquette while you are on and off campus. You should not attend in-person class if you are sick or have been exposed to COVID-19.

In our efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19 among our residential community, we are requiring all residential students to take a rapid test this week. If you are a residential student, follow the testing schedule below and report to the BDT Suites Cafeteria Hall during the assigned testing date.

Any student who has reported for testing on Monday, April 4 or who is under Student Health Services quarantine or isolation protocol is exempt from this testing schedule. In addition, commuter students should continue to adhere to the required weekly testing cadence which has remained unchanged.

Rapid Testing for ALL residential students this week:

BDT Suites Residents: Tuesday, April 5th

Abby Residents: Tuesday, April 5th

Morehouse James Residents: Thursday, April 7th

Bessie Strong Residents: Thursday, April 7th

LLC 1 Residents: Thursday, April 7th

LLC 2 Residents: Thursday, April 7th

McAlpin Residents: Friday, April 8th

Manley Hall Residents: Friday, April 8th

Howard-Harreld Residents: Friday, April 8th
