Dear Spelman Community,


We are happy to welcome Bon Appetit as our new preferred on-campus catering vendor, replacing Aramark. Please review the important information below, outlining how to successfully place a catering order.


ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS:
Use the link below to access the Bon Appetit website:
Spelman.catertrax.com

  • Click on the "Catering Menu" tab & "How to Place an Order" (This six-minute video will show how to navigate the site; create an account/sign in; place an order; & manage existing orders)
  • Click "Account" & "Need an Account" to register
  • Click "Catering Menu" to view catering options (Including custom menu requests)
  • Select a Menu to start your order OR click "Account" and "Create New Order" (Single Service or Multiple Service)
  • Upon check-out, Payment Method = Purchase Order [please use a dash or some other non-numeric character(s) as a temporary placeholder for the PO #.]
  • The "Printable Invoice" can be used as your supporting documentation for your Requisition
  • Once the PO # is received, it will need to be entered into CaterTrax in the "Payment Information" section by the Requestor. [To locate your Quote, Click on the ‘Account’ Tab from the Catertrax Home page, Go to ‘Manage & Repeat Orders’, Under ‘Action’ for your specific order click the ‘Request Change’ icon, Scroll down to the ‘Payment Information’ section & input the PO #]
  • Once the service has been rendered, please create your receipt in Spel-Shop & attach the final invoice to be processed for payment

SPECIAL NOTES:
  • Bon Appetit will customize your order to help you work within your budget.
  • The Catering Menu offers Vegetarian & Vegan options, and many menu options include a choice of two selections (Ex: Two meats, Two sides, etc.).
  • Menu options made without the "Top 9 Allergens" are available. Any questions pertaining to Gluten should be directed to Bon Appetit.
  • All orders should be submitted at least (7) calendar days prior to your event.
  • You should not be charged Sales Tax.

Our new preferred vendor should eliminate the need to use outside caterers. If there is anything that our new preferred vendor cannot accommodate, please contact Jackie James or Yolande Stringfellow for discussion.
